Minister of information Lai Mohammed has said in January this year that endemic corruption costs Nigeria millions of dollars per year, adding that the country lost of 1.34 trillion naira ($6.8 billion) in public funds between 2006 and 2013 at the hands of just 55 individuals, including government ministers and bankers. British Prime Minister David Cameron was caught saying that Nigeria is fantastically corrupt and President Buhari agreed with him during the anti-corruption summit in London.
During the last year the Nigerian leader has arrested many officials of the previous government of Goodluck Jonathan. Below are seven key Jonathan’s men who were arrested over the charges of corruption.

Chairman of the EFCC Ibrahim Magu has recently disclosed that the agency was indeed probing and collating evidence against former president Jonathan and other accomplices in the arms purchase scandal. So Jonathan may join his allies in the custody. Time will tell.
